We recognize and appreciate those among us who have performed exemplary.  It is not by virtue of being the best, but to motivate encourage and challenge them that more is expected of them.
As a school, we humbly take up the challenge of being the centre of excellence.  It is a responsibility on the shoulders of all concerned stakeholders to live up to the expectations of this status.  We are motivated, we are challenged and we have the will to aspire to being a real centre of excellence as enshrined in the school motto, vision, mission and core values.
This school has a fair share of opportunities that needs to be tapped for the sake of society:
a)  The school is situated in a quiet, serene and conducive environment free from urban influence.
b)  The school can be accessed on tarmac
c)  It enjoys an able, competent and self-driven staff.
d)  We have a promising infrastructural plan.
e)  Our students’ discipline is above reproach.
f)  A diligent and pro-active BOG and PTA co-operative and supportive parents
g)  Presence of a 52-seater school bus that facilitates learning.
h)  Students textbook ratio of 1:1 that helps in the advancement of curriculum delivery.
i)  We also enjoy favourable goodwill in our environment.

 

The following challenges, however, need to be translated to opportunities through concerted efforts:
a)  Inadequate laboratories and lab facilities and equipment.
b)  Inadequate teaching staff.
c)  Inadequate dormitories and staff houses.
d)  Inadequate and unreliable computers.
e)  Lack of an alternative source of lighting.
f)  Imprompt and default in payment of boarding levies.
g)  Inadequate library room, administration block and classrooms.
For the latter, we would like to thank the Government of Kenya for the initiative of the Economic Stimulus Programme are on the process of becoming an opportunity.
            Allow me to take you through the K.C.S.E performance for the last 11 years

It can be noted that we are almost stabilizing at 7+. Our target this year is to achieve mean of at least 8.5.

Staffing


The school CBE is 38 teachers. But currently the school has 27 TSC teachers,  11 B.O.G teachers and 7 teachers on teaching practice.
We also have 25 members of the supportive staff.

The improved performance has triggered a steady increase in enrolment as follows.

This has overstretched existing facilities and resources.
            In conclusion, I wish to thank the Minister for Education on behalf of the MOE for the support to this school and accepting to grace this occasion.  Also our Chief Guests, invited guests, parents, and all stakeholders.  My thanks also go to our teachers and students. And all the unsung heroes and heroines – thank you.  We hope to celebrate even better results with your input.
